Haier Biomedical celebrates a successful Clinical Pharmacy Congress 2026
Haier Biomedical was delighted to exhibit at the 15th Clinical Pharmacy Congress, held at ExCeL London, where pharmacy professionals, exhibitors and industry partners came together for one of the most successful editions of CPC to date.
According to post-event communication from the organiser, 3,507 unique attendees visited the event, representing a 4.6% increase on 2025 and the highest attendance CPC has ever delivered. The organiser also reported that attendee seniority was higher than previous years and that an increased re-bookings for next year reflecting strong confidence in the future of the Congress.

For Haier Biomedical, CPC 2026 provided a valuable opportunity to meet with hospital pharmacy teams, clinical pharmacists, procurement specialists, estates colleagues and medicines management professionals to discuss the changing needs of pharmacy services.
A key theme throughout the event was the need for reliable, compliant and efficient cold-chain storage. On stand, we showcased our new generation of pharmacy refrigerators, including the HYC-1030GT, HYC-130GD and HYC-341.
The HYC-130GD undercounter pharmacy refrigerator is designed for the storage of medicines, vaccines, reagents and biological products in hospitals, pharmacies, clinics and laboratories. It offers 2–8°C storage, quiet operation at 37dB(A), microprocessor control, audible and visual alarms, remote alarm contacts and optional USB/RS485 data acquisition.
The larger HYC-1030GT double-door pharmacy refrigerator attracted particular interest from teams looking for higher-capacity storage. It offers a 1030L capacity, 2–8°C temperature range, ±1°C temperature uniformity, low energy consumption, a 7-inch touchscreen, USB data export, RS485 connectivity, remote alarm contact and standard electromagnetic locking.
We also demonstrated our RFID-enabled cold storage solution, designed to help pharmacy teams move beyond manual stock checks and improve traceability. The HYC-639R RFID refrigerator supports real-time inventory visibility, secure access logging, expiry monitoring and web-based reagent management. Its integrated RFID antennas can scan up to 300 items in under three seconds, supporting faster stock checks and improved workflow efficiency.
Alongside the products on display, visitors were able to explore a 3D model of a complete automated pharmacy solution. While this is a longer-term concept rather than a product available for immediate purchase, it opened valuable conversations around the future of pharmacy automation, including automated dispensing, intelligent shelving, medicine replenishment, prescription transmission and 24-hour unattended pharmacy models.
Throughout the two days, our team had constructive discussions around practical project planning, including storage capacity, footprint, electrical requirements and how pharmacy departments can begin preparing for more connected and automated medicines management. The products featured on the stand included undercounter, upright, double-door and RFID refrigerator options, giving visitors a clear view of solutions for different pharmacy environments.
We would like to thank everyone who visited Haier Biomedical at CPC 2026, whether to discuss an immediate cold storage requirement, explore RFID stock management, or start a wider conversation about the future of automated pharmacy workflows.
For anyone we did not have chance to meet at the event, the conversation does not have to end with CPC. Whether you are reviewing your current pharmacy refrigeration, considering how RFID could improve stock visibility, planning a refurbishment or looking ahead to future automation, our team would be pleased to continue the discussion.
