Last week we had a great turn out for our Biosafety Seminar for end users at University of Liverpool, Integrative Biology presented by Doug Scott our Clean Air Applications Specialist.
Doug explains, “these end user seminars are designed to provide general biosafety awareness and guidance on the safe use of biological safety cabinets to safety officers, lab managers and other lab personnel. We cover the basics, best practice and the common myths often associated with safety cabinets”.
Carol Beesley, Technical Supervisor for Research at the Institute of Integrative Biology sent her thanks, saying “The seminar was very informative and gave us all an insight on how microbiological safety cabinets should (and should not) be used. I think the seminar was particularly useful for newer members of the Institute – a very good take home message indeed!!”
