What a month! November saw Haier Biomedical UK win significant contracts for the supply of capital laboratory equipment.
Firstly, Haier Biomedical UK has been awarded a MHRA framework contract for the supply and installation of Microbiological Safety Cabinets (MSC) Class II at the National Institute for Biological Standards and Control (NIBSC).
The award was for both ducted and recirculating microbiological safety cabinets compliant with BS EN 12469, with UV capability, low noise output and energy efficient. Our successful bid was down to our ability to supply the right range of quality cabinets at a competitive price, beating off better known brands.
Secondly, our range of ultra-low temperature (ULT) -80⁰C freezers have been successfully included in a four-year framework agreement for University College London and Kings College London (UCL/KCL). End users on any site, within UCL/KCL, can now order a Haier Biomedical ULT freezer through their preferred supplier, either Wolflabs or Scientific Lab Supplies (SLS).
In addition SLS won two lots for the supply of Haier Biomedical laboratory freezers (-20°C).
“We are absolutely delighted to have been awarded these opportunities.” says Richard Jafrato, General Manager for Haier Biomedical UK. “We continue to go from strength to strength in the UK and globally and this is testament to the continued development of our product range which keeps us at the forefront of technology within our sector. Our team has worked extremely hard, alongside our supply partners, over the last three years and its great to see the fruits of all our efforts”.
