UCool+: Laboratory Monitoring Solution

Remote Monitoring:

Using LoRaWAN communication, multiple sensors record data and transmit it back to one or more central gateways. These then communicate to the UCool+ online platform using the 4G mobile network, allowing remote equipment monitoring - even in areas without Wi-Fi or networking.

Applications:

Used within warehousing, distribution and laboratory preparation, including storage facilities for medicines, vaccines, blood, reagents, biological products and other temperature-sensitive items. Primarily focused on storage from -196°C to +8°C, they are also used to monitor temperatures of incubators, climate chambers and drying ovens up to +500°C.

Long Distance Communication

LoRa WAN wireless communications enables true wire-free communication of recorded data from point of capture to the UCool+ platform over up to 3 floors.

Battery Powered Sensors

Sensors are battery-powered, providing up to 10 years of operation. This allows sensors to be deployed into existing spaces without consideration for external power supplies. The gateway has a battery backup, offering up to 36 hours of operation in the event of power failure.

Pro Sensor

Our primary temperature sensor is fully feature packed, benefiting from internal memory, magnetic mounts and USB-C con- nection (for data download and optional 5V power input). The unit boasts a 2.6” LCD screen displaying latest readings, battery strength and connection status keeping users informed at point of use.

User-servicable Hardware

Designed with ongoing maintenance in mind, the unit comes with replaceable probes if the original becomes damaged. The

device batteries are commercially available 3.6V Lithium-ion ba􏰂eries, which can be easily replaced by the user.

Automated Alerts

SMS, Email or Call alert options are available. Escalation alarms can also be set to ensure the correct people are contacted in the correct order at the correct time.
